About Me
Construction has been a lifelong passion of mine—one that started back in childhood. From building with Legos to tinkering with my dad’s tools and leftover materials, I’ve always enjoyed creating and working with my hands.
My first real step into the trades came in high school when I enrolled in a shop class. Around the same time, I began working concrete with my uncle’s crew. Even though I was the boss’s 16-year-old nephew, there were no shortcuts or special treatment. What I did receive was respect, valuable mentorship, and a crash course in hard work, attitude, and responsibility—lessons that have stuck with me ever since.
After high school, I deepened my skills in woodworking at a local furniture and cabinet shop. From there, I transitioned into trim carpentry, where I had the privilege of learning from a seasoned professional. Trim work taught me the importance of precision and a sharp eye for detail.
Over the years, I continued to grow by working with a home builder, which gave me hands-on experience across nearly every aspect of residential construction—from cabinetry and mantels to tile, flooring, decks, fencing, and more.
In 2011, after years of learning, growing, and dreaming, I took the leap and started my own business: Sessions Remodeling and Construction in Lincoln, Nebraska. Since then, I’ve built a company rooted in quality craftsmanship, integrity, and a deep respect for the trade.
